Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Donation Policy

Shree Mahant Prem Giri Sevashram Charitable Trust is a non-profit monastic charitable trust. All donations made towards Gau Seva, Temple Renovation, Annadan Bhandara, Gurukul maintenance, or Kumbh Mela sadhu shivir are voluntary religious gifts. Because donations are immediately allocated to active charitable seva (such as daily cow fodder purchases and free meals), donations are generally non-refundable once received.

2. Erroneous or Duplicate Transactions

In the event of an accidental duplicate transaction, technical failure, or data-entry error (for instance, the donor's account was debited twice for the same contribution):

• The donor must notify the Trust within 7 working days of the transaction date.
• Written notice must be emailed to shresevatrust@gmail.com along with the Bank Transaction Reference ID, UTR Number, payment screenshot, and reason for the refund request.
• Upon verification by our audit desk, the duplicate amount will be refunded directly to the originating bank account or UPI handle within 7–10 business days.

3. 80G Tax Receipt Implications

Under Indian Income Tax regulations, if a Section 80G tax exemption receipt (Form 10BE) has already been reported to the Income Tax Department for a donation, a refund cannot be granted because the tax credit has already been recorded.
